Dear Senator Toomey,
I applaud your recent participation in the Koch Foundation’s annual donor meeting and urge you to emulate that well-respected institution’s adherence to principles and accountability:
The blatantly discriminatory attempt by President Trump to ban immigrants and refugees who are attempting to enter this country legally and after completing all the required background checks and required processes is an abhorrent affront to our Constitution.
I urge you to stand up to Trump and make it loud and clear to him (and to your Constituents) that you will not support this illegal effort to force the extremist views held by Trump personally, his advisors and his cabinet members down the throats of the vast majority of the American people who are clearly overwhelmingly against this egregious abuse of power.
A reply is not necessary – your actions in this time of crisis will tell me and every other voter in this State everything we need to know.
